Overview
Agile Build™ is a structured, sprint-based system that applies Agile project management principles to the design and construction of custom homes. It transforms the traditional homebuilding process into a collaborative, transparent, and flexible workflow that empowers the architect, builder, homeowner, and trades to work in sync.
The Agile Build™ system consists of:
- A phased structure including a Design Phase (BuildDoc creation), Estimate Phase (iterative design/pricing refinement), Preconstruction Phase and Construction Phase (task-based sprints).
- Defined roles modeled after Agile conventions (e.g., Product Owner = homeowner; Scrum Master = builder/project manager).
- Repeatable workflows designed to promote transparency, reduce delays, clarify selections and specifications, and improve communication throughout the lifecycle of a home project.
- Documented standards for implementation, quality control, client signoff, deadlines & decisions
